NEWLY AFFLUENT PECATU village puts on boyband and 20 nymphette Rejang Dewa dance to greet the deity Bhatara Luhur in the temple's fore court . Almost none of the 500 or so big tourism businesses who enjoy success under the generous gaze of the deity saw fit to send a rep to the event. Perhaps they could instead invest in cleaning up the approach road to Pecatu from Jimbaran─now hands down the island's most filthy─to show solidarity.
