CEREMONIAL MEMORIAL FOR TOSCA CASELLINI, PANTAI MATAHARI TERBIT, SANUR, 29 October 2013

This afternoon (29/10/2013)  all the Italo-Seminyak old gang and their fans gathered with Simona, Tosca's loving sister, to take part in a grand Balinese send-off (Ngaben-Nyekah-Nganyut) officiated by Tosca's Guru, Ida Pedanda Geria Kaler, Sanur and his family. Three giant flower hearts and mat-loads of offerings decorated the beach. It was a grand send-off for a much-loved lady. 

Tosca, a native of Lugano in Switzerland, has lived in Bali for much of the last 40 years -- an active member in the Balinese community as well as a successful entrepreneur. A devout Hindu she was responsible for introducing many Italians and Swiss to the Balinese faith. 

Tosca will be remembered for her warmth and sincerity — she was a real beam of sunshine.
